Threaded

We are all made of threads – threads of ancestry, memory, culture, love, and the lives we build together. Inspired by my husband’s journey from Ghana to America, this portrait reflects the quiet transformation of carrying one’s heritage into a new home and a new season of life. The stitched thread symbolizes the passage between past and present, reminding us that identity is never singular or fixed. It is continually woven from every place we have been and every person who becomes part of our story.
